After not doing the diet since mid nov, I have put on about half a stone (which is what I would probably have done over the xmas period anyway) I am back on Billys diet.
Got about a stone to lose before 20 Jan so I can get into my Mess dress for burns night. Day 2 today so the lethargy will kick in soon so will just be stopping in and chilling over new year.

Thurs 10 Nov
Not a great this week as I only lost 1lb - but I was at the NEC for 3 days and I went out for a meal last night, so I guess and loss is a bonus.
Nothing to stop me being really good this next week, so here is to a better result in 7 days.

Thursday 3rd Nov
Lost another 2.5lb this week which is really good as I had a chinese on Saturday night and a sandwich & crisps on Sunday night.
Think I am gonig into Ketosis again as I am really tired and have had a mild headache for the past 2 days but hopefully that will pass.
Planning on at least another 2.5lb for next week although it may be difficult as I am at the NEC all weekend and then out to Hacketts on Wednesday night.

Thursday 27th Oct
Only lost 1.5lb this week although cant really complain considering that I was out Saturday night eating and drinking.
Total loss in 5 weeks is 16.5lb.
I have another week of food from Billys diet before I move onto the celebrity slim diet for 3 weeks. Got the celebrity slim from groupon when it was on offer a couple of weeks ago. With the celebrity slim, I get to have a home cooked evening meal which is the start of my process of going back to normal food.
Target for next week is 3.5lb so I can make 20lb in 6 weeks.

Thurs 20th Oct
Week 4 weigh in and i have lost a total of 15lb.
Didnt quite make it down to the next stone number - needed another half lb for that but still pleased with a stone in 4 weeks. Can I make it 2 in 8 weeks?????
I have got 2 more weeks of food left before I move onto the next thing. I have got some celebrity slim from groupon. Basically I have 2 shakes or soups and then a proper evening meal for 3 weeks. That must take me up til the end of Movember so I will see where I am then

Thurs 13th Oct
Week 3 weigh in and I have lost another 2.5lb making 12lb in total. Have to get to the stone mark by next week. If I lose more than 3lbs, I get down into the next stone, so that is my real target.
Meals have been going OK although I do miss the hot soups for lunch. I have been having
porridge/granola for breakfast
Protein bar for lunch
meat meal for tea
hot shake for bedtime.
Roll on next thurs for the next weigh in. Will try to keep off the scales each day to get a surprise at the end of the week.

Sunday 25th September 2011
Well it has been a few months since I last posted and still havent had the go ahead to go back to the gym.
Spent 3 weeks in Florida and only put on 2 lbs but have put a few more on since so I have decided to take drastic action and do a very low calorie diet (VLCD) for a few weeks, where you have between 600 and 800 calories a day. I searched all about for which one to do and they all seem much of a muchness, it is only hte price that varies, so I went with one from ebay. (They also have their own website which works out cheaper than ebay http://billysdiet.com/
Each day you have 2 shakes and 2 soups and 2 1/2 litres of water.
Although I havent really felt that hungry, I did have a mild headache for day 2 and 3 and I felt very tired. Day 4 today and I do feel better so hopefully I am getting used to it and it will get easier.
Weight loss after 3 days is 4lbs. I will post again on Thurs with my weekly weigh in results.

I am back into it again today to try for another week. I am eating out Saturday lunch at Frankie & Bennys but other than that, there is no reason why I cannot be good all week. (And I will even try to be good at Frankie & Bennys.)
Today, I have had
Breakfast: donut peach - new breed of peach that I love.
Lunch: mediteranean veg with chicken, muller light
Tea: Butternut squah & chickpe tagine.

Friday 15th July
Well had a fairly good couple of days, just got to wait until weigh in on Sunday morning to see just how good.
Thursday, I was good all day and had made a tomato dahl for tea. I got the boys pizza so I could get on with the cleaning as soon as I got in from work but I sucummed to temptation. I had one slice of pizza and a few handfuls of spiral fries. I did get offered another pizza slice though and I did turn it down.
Friday
Breakfast - melon
Lunch - Mediterranean chicken with salad
Snack - fruit salad whilst watching Harry Potter in the cinema.
Tea - tomato dahl that I cooked last night.
Overall, very pleased with my willpower over the past 6 days, can I keep it up for anther 2 weeks?

Wednesday 13th July
Still going strong, have been very good foodwise this week and have gone to bed when I am tempted by something.
Been having virtually the same menu each day which is not great as I will become bored of it, but it is producing results so I will perservere until I can get to the shops at the weekend.
Breakfast: porridge made with soya milk & 1tsp sugarfree jam.
Snack: 2 pieces of fruit
Lunch: chicken salad
Tea: roast chicken with peas, carrots & broccoli from the allotment followed by a muller.
Drink: water all day - no tea, squash or fizzy drinks and it actually is OK.
I have already weighed twice this week and am happy with the results so far. Will keep going until my weigh in Sunday morning. Will then post the final results of my detox week.

Sunday 10 July 2011
Well its been a long time since my last post but I have only put on 1 lb. I am still under the hospital regarding my funny turn but hopefully will be given the all clear with my heart after the next apointment. - but until then, I am still not allowed to do any phys.
The culmination of 3 weeks to go til our holiday and my mum buying me some shorts that are a bit tight has made a start again. My short term target is 1/2 stone in 3 weeks. Should be easily achievable if I stick to the healthy eating even without excercise.
I am out to lunch Tuesday but might change my food order to something more healthy and I am taking the boys to the cinema on Friday to see the new Harry Potter movie. I am not fussed about popcorn so I will just take some grapes and a bottle of water.
Todays menu
Breakfast: a fresh peach
Lunch: Cod served on a bed of stirfried courgette, onion & tomato with garlic plus a satsuma.
Tea: Curried potato salad - (didnt enjoy it one bit and am so tempted to go and get something nice but will stay strong and not eat crap)

Started off with strawberries & yoghurt for breakfast,
had cookies for lunch
chinese for tea.
As I say, not a good day but tomorrow is another day.

Thursday 26th May
Not been too good today as we went to Frankie & Bennies for lunch.
Breakfast: just a cup of tea
Lunch: potato skins, mushroom pasta & cinnamon waffle & ice cream
Tea: Piece of fruit cake and some peanuts.
Really must get back on plan tomorrow after today off. Cant afford to have to many days like these although if i can still lose this week after today, it proves that you do not have to be good all the time to lose weight. I recon it is the 80/20 rule.

Tuesday 24th - Weigh in day
Determined not to eat too much today before weigh in.
Breakfast: 2 weetabix with a sliced banana
Lunch Jacket pot & tuna mayo.
tea: Slimming world chips, fried egg & beans
Treat: fun size bag of maltesers from Charlie.
Tuna from lunch was cooked on the BBQ on Sunday but I didn't like it so I mashed it up with some low fat mayo and chopped onion and had it on a jacket. Remind me to stick to tinned tuna rather fresh.
2lb off at weigh in tonight. Very pleased as I am still not exercising. Hope I can keep going at this rate until out holiday.

Monday 23rd May
Got up a bit late today and had to take the boys straight to school then go to post office to post my OU assignment so missed breakfast so had to buy a cereal bar in the co-op or wouldn't have made it home. Still off work resting which is great, I feel so relaxed and happy that I never want to go back to work again. ha ha ha. Slightly fed up with myself at my little binge yesterday so going to try and keep busy as I can't do that again before weigh day.
Breakfast: Alpen light bar.
Lunch: Thai noodle Salad at Burford garden centre.
Tea: Chicken, salad & new pots followed by fresh pineapple.
Charlie has given me a pack of maltesers but I am saving them for after weigh in tomorrow night.

Sunday 22 May
Woke up bright & breezy this morning, so glad that I did not drink at the BBQ yesterday. Food diary for today goes like this
Breakfast: 2 weetabix with sliced banana
Lunch: tuna & low fat mayo wrap
Snack: nectarine and packet of snack a jacks
Tea - BBq pork chop with salad & new pots & pint of cider shandy.
Got peckish this afternoon and raided the cupboard. Not sure why I did it as I knew that it was bad but I just had to have something - 2 cherry bakewells and 1 packet of crisps & a packet of maltesers whilst James was swimming. I think I was actually thirsty not hungary so why did I not get a drink???

Saturday 21st May
Food diary again, please that I didn't snack yesterday. Nearly succumbed to a take away but the boys didn't want one so I had the fish instead. Not sure how my weigh in will go without exercising again but will try to be good between now and then.
Breakfast: Muller light and fresh melon & strawberries.
Mid morning: Pear
Lunch: Grilled chicken in a wrap followed by melon & strawberries with a muller.
BBQ tea at friends
Treat: one glass of sparkling wine & a sausage at the BBQ
Very please with myself for being so good at the BBQ. I only had one glass of wine as I said I would drive and drunk diet coke the rest of the night (and not too many of those as they bloat me). Food wise, I picked at the sliced peppers but avoided the dips & crisps. I had one sausage that was probably not good food, the rest was BBQ'ed meat and I even had BBQ prawns which were OK considering I do not like fish - in fact I am going to try to eat more fish so I have got some tuna out of the freezer to try on the BBQ at home tomorrow. - Why had I got Tuna in the freezer when I do not like it and do not know how to cook it!!! - When I started Slimming world again this time, I decided that I must try fish so I was very brave and held my nose and went to the fish counter in Sainsburys and got some - it has been in the freezer since end of Feb - until now!!!

Friday 20th May
Woke up very early today and couldnt get back to sleep so got up for a few hours before going back to bed. Hate it when this happens as I get so tired in the evening then. I have got an open University assignment to do today so hopefully it will keep me occupied so no thoughts of snacking to repel.
Again just a food diary today. Been good this week so far so hope it pays dividends on weigh in day.
Breakfast: Melon covered with a muller light.
Lunch: Ainsley Harriet's spicy cous cous. ( bit of a struggle as I had a late breakfast)
Tea: Poached pollock with new potatoes & green beans followed by fresh strawberries from the allotment.
Snack: packet of sweet chilli rivita bites.

Thursday 19th May
No exercise but feeling better, Still waiting on blood results before I can even contemplate asking the doctor if it is OK to go back to phys.
Breakfast: Sliced melon with Muller light yogurt
Lunch: Out at Harvester - Cajun chicken burget with Jacket pot & salad
Tea: Ham, tomato & cheese omlette followed by melon.
Didnt need much tea after eating out at harvester. Not been there for a while but they have got all of the calories listed on the menu. It really helps when picking what to eat. I would probably not had the cajun burger if the calories were not on there. I was heading towards a combo grill but even though the burger had bread with it, it was still better for me than the ribs & sauce.

Wednesday 18th May
Still no excercise so just a food diary again.
Breakfast: 2 weetabix with hot milk and a sliced banana.
Lunch: Tomato soup from Tuesday followed by a muller light.
Snack: Apple.
Tea: Peppered steak, slimming world chips & baken beans followed by melon.
I nearly succomed to the cake tin. I even put my hand in there but thought No I will have melon instead of Plum cuts it up for me. I then went to the co-op and again nearly succomed to sweets, I even went to the sweet aisle to pick what I wanted but thought about the melon I would have went I got home.
Then later in the evening, I found some malteser easter bunny things, again I nearly succomed but I looked at the calories - 531 for 100g and this bar was 30g, so a quick calculation in my head and I decided I didnt want nearly 200 calories so I get Plum them both. (had it been under 100 calories, I would probably of eaten it)
I was pleased that I resisted temptation 3 times in one day. - Just hope I can do that every day.

Superfree Tomato Soup (makes 4 servings)
2 tins of chopped tomatos
1 tin of carrots - drained
1 tin of baken beans
1 chicken stock cube made up with 1/2pt hot water
1 pickled onion.
Simply put all ingredients into a pan and heat then blend to desired consistence - or if like me, you are lucky enough to have a soup maker, put it all in the jug, whizz and heat.
So quick & simple but delicious. My husband says it is the closest thing to Heinz tomato soup he has ever tasted.
Not sure where this recipe originated from as I found it on facebook.

I'm back
What a start to my new enthused campaign.
After my funny turn at circuits on Wednesday, I went to the docs and he sent me to A&E and I got admitted to the JR in Oxford. Thankfully they ruled out all serious possibilities for the cause of breathlessness & pain but didn't pinpoint what it actually was. I have got an outpatients appointment to go to where they will test me under exertion to find out some more.
Good thing is that I haven't eaten any crap in the 3 days I was in (although I did feel the need for crisps & chocolate as I walked past the hospital shop on discharge.
I have not done any exercise and nor will I until after I have been to the docs on Monday. If he says it is OK to go back to the gym I will give it another go.
Tea tonight is meal for 2 for £10 from Tesco although I will no be having the wine and I got the cheeseboard as a dessert for Plum, so really it is only a main meal.
Will be back on the wagon tomorrow with my food so hopefully post again then.

Weigh in day
Well it was weigh in day today and I put on 1lb. It was totally expected as I haven't really got back into it after having so much time at home over Easter/ bank holidays but I am back focused now.
My menu for today was
Breakfast
2 weetabix with semi skimmed milk
Mid morning snack
Plum & 2 satsumas
Lunch
BBQ chicken Salad (chicken was a hot one from the co-op)
Muller light yogurt
Mid afternoon snack
Apple
Tea
Jamaican jerk chicken with boiled rice.
Today's exercise
Well it didn't go to well today. I went circuits where there was a lot of running involved. After a short while I had difficulty breathing and so went light headed and dizzy. I dropped out and sat sipping water until I felt better which didn't actually take that long although it seemed like a lifetime when I couldn't get my breath. Hopefully it is a one off but if it happens again, I will be off to the docs as it was frightening.

So fat
I meant to type so far... into the title but it came out as so fat - the truth always comes out I guess - so I have left it.
I have been going to slimming world on and off for a few years now. I do well then fall back into my old habits, so I have decided to use a blog as my diary and publish how i do at my weigh ins and also what phys I do in the hope that it will keep me motivated. This time I started at the end of Feb and so far have lost 13 1/2 lbs.
12 weeks til our holiday so aiming for 1 1/2 stone in that time. 21lb in 12 weeks is only just over 1 1/2lb a week which should be easily achievable.
I normally weigh in on a Tuesday night but will be weighing in on Wednesday this week. Just hoping for a maintain tomorrow and then start again proper for the following week.
