Tues 17th - Weigh day

Still under the docs so no phys for me yet but I can still do the healthy eating bit. (Might be all the more important to do this once the finally get to the bottom of what happened)

Had to fast last night for blood test this morning so just a glass of water first thing.

Breakfast:                   a cup of tea and a banana
Mid morning snack:   Muller light
Lunch:                        Superfree tomato soup (recipe below)
Mid afternoon snack: Satsuma
Tea:                            Co-op crustless quiche with salad & new pots.

Treat:                          Shared a twirl with Plum.

Weigh in day : lost 2 1/2 lbs giving a total of 1st 1lb.


Superfree Tomato Soup (makes 4 servings)
2 tins of chopped tomatos
1 tin of carrots - drained
1 tin of baken beans
1 chicken stock cube made up with 1/2pt hot water
1 pickled onion.

Simply put all ingredients into a pan and heat then blend to desired consistence - or if like me, you are lucky enough to have a soup maker,  put it all in the jug,  whizz and heat.

So quick & simple but delicious.  My husband says it is the closest thing to Heinz tomato soup he has ever tasted.
